This week we’re talking about getting kids excited about agriculture. From 4-H projects and livestock shows to gardens, pasture checks, and letting kids tag along for all parts of farm life, we’re sharing simple ways to get them involved. It might take a little extra patience, but giving kids responsibility, teaching them the “why,” and letting them feel like an important part of the operation can help grow an appreciation for agriculture that sticks with them.
Of course, raising farm kids also means answering some interesting questions. We’re talking semen tanks on the doorstep, explaining periods with farm-friendly terminology, nipples versus “nibbles,” and the things kids probably shouldn’t repeat in public. As usual, the episode turns hilarious as Courtney tells us how she ended up peeing outside Lambeau Field and Annaliese shares about her new buddy, Rick. It’s a wild ride, don’t miss the fun!
