Alina was on Gardeners' World 2026 episode 9 when we saw her win a Gold for her first ever Indoor Plant show garden - Back to Grandma's House - at the 40th RHS Malvern Spring Festival.


We were delighted that Alina could join us for a Chit-Chat about her (fever) dream garden, and we find out more about her preparation for the show and get some helpful tips for anyone thinking of doing the same. We also learn about Alina being let loose on chainsaws at the age of 11, her Ophelia tattoo, flower show grants, dealing with depression at university, rogue Sherborne otters, moss lava lamps, what vegetable she would be, and how you should in fact pronounce "Adam Critien" - her partner in crime at Malvern.
