About Neil Adams
Neil Adams is an author whose new book, From the Pile, tells the story of his longtime friend Michael Dorian, a gay veterinary technician and long-term HIV survivor who worked as a volunteer at Ground Zero following the September 11 attacks. Neil met Michael in 1993 and remained his closest friend until Michael's death. He wrote the book to preserve Michael's story and to help others affected by 9/11 understand the resources still available to them through the Victims Compensation Fund. He is currently working on his next book.
