Olga Namer grew up in a Syrian Jewish Orthodox community and got married at the age of 18. Two years later, she was divorced and heartbroken. That could have been the end of her story. Instead, she turned tragedy into opportunity, pursuing a career in comedy and using her act to process her breakup.
