Authoritarianism is gaining ground in democracies around the world—often with populist, nativist rhetoric. In the United States, this trend threatens to demolish democratic government. And shifts in American foreign policy are also uprooting the previous world order around the globe. William Kristol joins host Alex Lovit to discuss what’s changed in the last few years in American politics, in international relations, and in his own beliefs.
