As an undergraduate, Andre was working under the guidance of a 3rd year graduate student Martin, who's is tasked with off loading as much work to Andre as he could. Andre being the bright-eyed and excited undergrad was feeling ambitious and thought he could do even more experiments than Martin assigned him. However, in the process it looks like Andre might have damaged some electrodes in the process. Alex and Neil take a look at how to troubleshoot working electrode issues.
