Cattle futures were mixed in the latest trading session, with contracts ranging from 52 cents lower to 22 cents lower. Feeder cattle futures showed strength, rebounding between 87 cents and $1.55 higher.

The CME feeder cattle index declined $1.86 on July 30th, settling at $345.83. Meanwhile, wholesale beef prices moved higher, with Choice boxed beef increasing 88 cents to $361.38, while Select boxes gained $4.90 to $346.23.
