Trump’s New Canada Tariffs
President Trump announced the United States will impose a 50% tariff on a series of Canadian goods, declaring that Canada has unfairly discriminated against American autos, alcohol and dairy products. Correspondent Jennifer King reports the move comes as the president is also mulling additional tariffs due to wildfire smoke coming from Canada into the US, and Ontario Premier Doug Ford responded saying Canada
should respond dollar for dollar, threatening a new trade war.
Tate Brothers Held
Andrew and Tristan Tate will remain behind bars for now after appearing in a Miami court on rape and other charges. Lisa Dwyer reports that the social media influencer brothers are fighting extradition to the UK after their arrest over the weekend.
NY Explosive Device
A man was taken into custody on Monday after he allegedly threw an incendiary device outside a federal building in Manhattan. Correspondent Clayton Neville reports several people had non-life-threatening injuries.
Gas Prices Rising
Due to the renewed fighting between the US and Iran and uncertainty in the Strait of Hormuz, oil prices have risen, and so has the price at the pump. Correspondent Ed Donahue reports the price of gas nationwide has pushed above $4 dollars-a-gallon.

Alerts are being raised from Tampa Bay to the Southeast Texas coast as Tropical Storm Bertha has formed in the Gulf of America.
