Two updates from the Microsoft 365 message center that change how Copilot works for you. Skills are coming to Copilot Chat, and Copilot is getting more personal with your work.Skills in Copilot Chat (MC1493223): users can create, upload, and share skills. Admins can upload a plugin with skills, then deploy, install, or block it in the Microsoft 365 admin center under Agents > Tools, and review the skills users have created there. Rollout runs from October to mid-November. Information Barriers tenants get it in November, and their users can't share their own skills yet.Copilot personalization (MC1492154): Copilot now uses inferences from your Microsoft 365 data to give more personalized responses, rolling out from early to late October. Users can turn it off in Settings > Personalization with the "Chat History and Work Insights" switch. Admins can switch it off with the enhancedPersonalizationSetting control in Microsoft Graph (beta), the setting behind Copilot memory. It's on by default.Sources:Skills in Copilot Chat (MC1493223)Copilot personalization (MC1492154)enhancedPersonalizationSetting (Microsoft Graph beta)Copilot personalization and memoryIf this was useful, tap Follow on Tech Ease in Spotify, so the next episode shows up for you.
