In Known by Our Love (1743), Hugh Binning draws from Christ’s command to love one another and 1 Corinthians 13 to expose pride, gossip, resentment, and harshness. He calls Christians instead to humility, patience, peace, forgiveness, and a love shaped by the mercy of God in Christ.
