On today’s episode of the Awards Tour podcast, Rotten Tomatoes Awards Editor Jacqueline Coley sits down with Domhnall Gleeson to discuss his hilarious new film, 'The Incomer.' In the film, Gleeson stars as Daniel, a man tasked with relocating siblings Isla and Sandy from their remote island in Scotland.
In their conversation, Gleeson reveals how the project came his way, how writer-director Louis Paxton helped the cast nail the film’s distinctive comedic tone, and what it was like shooting off the coast of the Scottish Highlands.
Later, Gleeson explains why he never wants to rest on his laurels, preferring to continually pursue roles that feel new and unexpected, which has led him to projects like 'Ex Machina,' 'The Revenant,' and his new Peacock series 'The Paper.'
Check out 'The Incomer' in theaters September 25, and join us on the next stop of the Awards Tour.
