It’s spooky season in the Village, and we’re heading out into the crisp autumn air for three Halloween stories. We’ll spend the evening in an old house learning to make friends with whoever might share our space, wander through cleared fields after the harvest to help a friend stand tall once again, and roam the streets on All Hallows’ Eve beneath glowing porch lights.
There will be costumes and fresh-cut hay, excited trick-or-treaters, a gust of wind that turns us around, and the first drops of rain beginning to fall. One of our stories is even, in the gentlest way possible, just a smidge spooky. Mostly, though, these are stories about friendship, imagination, and making memories with the people we love.
