Today we talk about a 1963 horror movie. We dive into Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds and the real-life mystery that may have inspired it. We'll also be chatting about the making of the film, fun facts, and a little bff talk ;)
Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963) is a classic horror thriller starring Tippi Hedren, Rod Taylor, Jessica Tandy, Suzanne Pleshette, and Veronica Cartwright. The film follows a California community as birds begin launching unexplained, increasingly violent attacks on people. It was inspired by Daphne du Maurier’s 1952 short story, The Birds, although Hitchcock made significant changes to the plot and setting for his film.
I'd love to hear your interpretation of The Birds!
