Story Transcript:
En: Miha stood at the beginning of the Tromostovje in Ljubljana, where the wind gently stirred the autumn leaves, which shimmered colorfully in the sunlight.
En: He felt trapped among the crowd of people rushing across the bridge.
En: Usually, he remained calm, but today he was filled with a secret anxiety.
Sl: Njegova glava se je vrtela.
En: His head was spinning.
En: "Take a deep breath," Miha told himself quietly enough that no one would hear.
Sl: Kljubotoval je proti tokovom drugih sprehajalcev.
En: He waded against the streams of other walkers.
En: Ahead of him, he saw Klara, waiting for him on the other side of the bridge.
Sl: Bila je nasmejana, lepa kot vedno.
En: She was smiling, beautiful as always.
Sl: Miha si je globoko želel priti do nje, a vsak korak je bil izziv.
En: Miha deeply desired to reach her, but each step was a challenge.
En: Miha tried to maintain a calm exterior, even though his heart was pounding.
En: Slowly, he moved forward, frequently stopping and pretending to admire the view of the Ljubljanica, flowing peacefully beneath the bridge.
En: His steps were uncertain, as if the bridge was floating under his feet.
En: Suddenly, a group of tourists appeared before him, stopping in the middle of the bridge to take pictures of the view.
En: He pressed against the railing, hoping no one noticed his unease.
En: His dizziness worsened for a moment, and it seemed as if the world was tipping toward the river.
En: At that moment, Borut, who had just arrived at the bridge, approached him.
Sl: "Zdravo, Miha, ti je slabo?
En: "Hello, Miha, are you feeling unwell?"
Sl: " je vprašal z iskreno skrbjo.
En: he asked with genuine concern.
Sl: Miha je prvotno želel zavrniti pomoč, a pogled v Borutove prijazne oči mu je dal pogum priznati svojo slabost.
En: Miha initially wanted to refuse help, but the look in Borut's kind eyes gave him the courage to admit his weakness.
Sl: "Ja, malo mi je slabo," je končno priznal Miha, rahlo v zadregi.
En: "Yes, I feel a bit unwell," Miha finally admitted, slightly embarrassed.
Sl: "Naj te pospremim čez most," je predlagal Borut.
En: "Let me accompany you across the bridge," Borut suggested.
Sl: Miha je globoko vdihnil in odkimal, potem pa se le nasmehnil in prikimal.
En: Miha took a deep breath and shook his head, but then he smiled and nodded.
En: Together, they slowly crossed the bridge, step by step, while Borut quietly chatted the whole way to distract Miha's mind from the dizziness.
Sl: Prišla sta na drugo stran mostu.
En: They reached the other side of the bridge.
En: Klara hurried closer, smiling as always.
En: Miha felt relieved and looked at Borut with newfound respect.
Sl: "Hvala," je rekel, počutivši se hvaležnega.
En: "Thank you," he said, feeling grateful.
En: From that day, Miha learned that asking for help is not a shame.
En: Sometimes, the need for assistance can be like a warm autumn breeze, gently moving the leaves from a wonderful bridge forward, forward to the clarity of the heart.
En: Miha stood beside Klara, who squeezed his hand, and together they anchored themselves in the smiles of a Ljubljana autumn day.
