Story Transcript:
Ro: Într-o vară călduroasă, clasa lui Mihai a plecat într-o excursie la un templu ascuns dintr-o pădure verde și luxuriantă.
En: On a hot summer, Mihai's class went on a trip to a hidden temple in a lush green forest.
Ro: Templul avea ziduri vechi din piatră, acoperite de viță de vie, și intrări decorate cu sculpturi misterioase.
En: The temple had old stone walls, covered in vines, and entrances decorated with mysterious carvings.
Ro: Mihai era mereu curios și dorea să afle mai multe despre istoria locurilor pe care le vizitau.
En: Mihai was always curious and wanted to learn more about the history of the places they visited.
Ro: De aceea, când a auzit zvonurile despre camerele ascunse ale templului, s-a hotărât să le exploreze.
En: That's why, when he heard rumors about the hidden rooms of the temple, he decided to explore them.
Ro: "Raluca, Andrei," a spus Mihai într-o șoaptă conspirativă.
En: "Raluca, Andrei," Mihai said in a conspiratorial whisper.
Ro: "Trebuie să mergem să vedem camerele ascunse.
En: "We must go and see the hidden rooms.
Ro: Cine știe ce comori s-ar putea afla acolo?
En: Who knows what treasures might be there?"
Ro: "Raluca era mai precaută.
En: Raluca was more cautious.
Ro: "Nu știu, Mihai.
En: "I don't know, Mihai.
Ro: Profesorul a spus să urmăm traseul ghidat.
En: The teacher said to follow the guided path.
Ro: Există și zvonuri despre un blestem.
En: There are also rumors about a curse."
Ro: " Dar Mihai nu putea fi oprit.
En: But Mihai couldn't be stopped.
Ro: "Doar o privire.
En: "Just a quick look.
Ro: Nu vom rămâne mult," a insistat el.
En: We won't stay long," he insisted.
Ro: Andrei, de obicei practic și respectuos față de reguli, a ridicat din umeri.
En: Andrei, usually practical and respectful of rules, shrugged.
Ro: "Bine, dar să nu facem nimic periculos," a spus el, mai mult pentru a-și proteja prietenii.
En: "Okay, but let's not do anything dangerous," he said, more to protect his friends.
Ro: Cei trei s-au strecurat ușor printre copaci și au găsit o ușă mică, acoperită parțial de frunziș.
En: The three of them easily sneaked through the trees and found a small door, partially covered by foliage.
Ro: Inima lui Mihai bătea cu putere.
En: Mihai's heart was pounding.
Ro: Au deschis ușa și au intrat într-un coridor întunecos.
En: They opened the door and stepped into a dark corridor.
Ro: Cum mergeau mai departe, sunetele ciudate, ca de șoapte, au început să se audă.
En: As they went further, strange sounds, like whispers, began to be heard.
Ro: "Ce sunt acele sunete?
En: "What are those sounds?"
Ro: " a întrebat Raluca, privindu-i speriată pe cei doi băieți.
En: Raluca asked, looking fearfully at the two boys.
Ro: Curând, sunetele le-au ghidat pașii înapoi spre grupul principal, chiar la timp.
En: Soon, the sounds guided their steps back to the main group, just in time.
Ro: "A fost aproape," a spus Andrei, respirând ușurat.
En: "That was close," Andrei said, breathing a sigh of relief.
Ro: În timp ce profesorul le explica istoria templului, Mihai a zâmbit către prietenii săi.
En: While the teacher explained the history of the temple, Mihai smiled at his friends.
Ro: A fost o aventură reușită și nu fuseseră prinși.
En: It had been a successful adventure and they hadn't been caught.
Ro: Realizase că emoția descoperirii poate fi trăită și în limitele siguranței.
En: He realized that the thrill of discovery can also be experienced within the limits of safety.
Ro: Raluca i-a aruncat o privire de complicitate.
En: Raluca gave him a conspiratorial look.
Ro: "Poate că data viitoare vom trebui să ascultăm mai mult de instincte.
En: "Maybe next time we should listen more to our instincts."
Ro: "Acum, Mihai știa mai bine.
En: Now, Mihai knew better.
