Sk: Na Santorini bolo všetko nádherné.
En: Everything on Santorini was beautiful.
Sk: Biele budovy s modrými kupolami sa týčili pod jasným jarným slnkom.
En: White buildings with blue domes towered under the bright spring sun.
Sk: Pobrežie zdobilo azúrové more a vo vzduchu bolo cítiť vôňu soli a rozkvitnutých kvetín.
En: The coastline was adorned by the azure sea, and the air was filled with the scent of salt and blooming flowers.
Sk: Tam, pri Grécku, si Juraj so svojou rodinou plánoval oddýchnuť a osláviť svoje narodeniny.

Sk: „Juraj, poď, vidíš tú nádheru?
En: "Juraj, come, do you see that beauty?"
Sk: “ povedala s úsmevom.
En: she said with a smile.
Sk: Juraj vzal šálku kávy a pokúsil sa vypnúť myšlienky na prácu, ktorá mu stále posielala naliehavé emaily.
En: Juraj took a cup of coffee and tried to turn off thoughts about work, which kept sending him urgent emails.
Sk: Marek si sadol s telefónom v ruke, sotva si všímajúc scenériu okolo.
En: Marek sat with his phone in hand, barely noticing the scenery around him.
Sk: „Marek, prepáč, ale nemôžeš byť aspoň teraz s nami?
En: "Marek, please, can't you be with us at least now?"
Sk: “ prosila ho Lenka.
En: Lenka pleaded.
Sk: Marek otrávene odsekol: „Mám aj svoje veci na riešenie.
En: Marek replied irritably, "I have my own things to deal with."
Sk: “Nastala večera.
En: It was dinner time.
Sk: Stôl bol pripravený na nádhernej terase s výhľadom na zapadajúce slnko.
En: The table was set on the beautiful terrace overlooking the setting sun.
Sk: Všetko vyzeralo dokonale, kým Juraj dostal ďalšie zvonenie.
En: Everything looked perfect until Juraj received another call.
Sk: Tentoraz z neho striekli nervy.
En: This time he burst with nerves.
Sk: „Nie, teraz už dosť!
En: "No, that's enough now!"
Sk: “ povedal si a vypol mobil.
En: he said to himself and turned off his phone.
Sk: Marek prekvapene zdvihol hlavu od telefónu.
En: Marek looked up from his phone in surprise.
Sk: „Tati?
En: "Dad?"
Sk: “Juraj vzdychol a povedal: „Nie je to len o mne.
En: Juraj sighed and said, "It's not just about me.
Sk: Chcem byť s vami, teraz a tu.
En: I want to be with you, here and now."
Sk: “ Lenka sa usmiala, keď Marek váhavo odložil svoj telefón.
En: Lenka smiled as Marek hesitantly put his phone aside.
Sk: „Všetci sa na chvíľu zamerajme na ten výhľad.
En: "Let's all focus on the view for a moment.
Sk: Nie na obrazovky.
En: Not on the screens."
Sk: “Slnko sa začalo ponárať za obzor a oblohu zalievali farby červenej a oranžovej.
En: The sun began to dip below the horizon, bathing the sky in shades of red and orange.
Sk: Vtedy si všetci traja, vedľa seba, uvedomili, koľko znamená byť teraz spolu, a nie inde vo svete.
En: Then all three of them, side by side, realized how much it meant to be together now and not elsewhere in the world.
Sk: Juraj sa naučil, že práca môže počkať.
En: Juraj learned that work can wait.
Sk: Marek pochopil, že skutočné chvíle s rodinou môžu priniesť iný druh radosti.
