Fi: Kaarina istui sairaalan odotustilassa.
En: Kaarina sat in the hospital waiting room.
Fi: Hänen katseensa oli kiinnittynyt äidin huolestuneisiin kasvoihin kunnes ovi sulkeutui, ja äiti katosi leikkaussaliin.
En: Her gaze was fixed on her mother's worried face until the door closed, and her mother disappeared into the operating room.
