Pedro Arruza was born in Spain, lost his father at seven, and arrived in Miami barely speaking English. He became an English teacher with a master's degree — and then built one of the best sustained runs in Division III football: 22 years as head coach at Randolph-Macon, the longest-tenured coach in Virginia, with a 2025 ODAC title to add to the collection.
