Veteran broadcaster Derryn Hinch will be farewelled at a state funeral in Melbourne, featuring speakers from politics, media and entertainment including Ray Martin, his brother Des, and performances by Rhonda Burchmore and Bob Valentine. The non-religious ceremony at the Timber Yard events venue will be live-streamed and broadcast on Channel 7, with Jackie Weaver providing a recorded message from her filming location in Kalgoorlie. Hinch personally planned every detail of the celebration before his death.
