What do you do when the soil you were planted in can no longer sustain what you are becoming?

This episode was recorded in real time,  not from a place of having arrived on the other side, but from the middle of the season itself. Lesley shares openly that she is in this right now. The outgrowing, the tilling, the disorienting in-between that most people are never taught how to navigate.

We live in a culture that teaches us to fill the void, to cope with the unknown, to run back to what is familiar and comfortable. But what if the void is not absence? What if it is preparation?

Through the lens of the soil and plant analogy, nervous system regulation, identity, faith, and personal unbecoming, this episode explores what it actually means to outgrow a container  and why the discomfort you feel is not evidence that something is wrong with you. It is evidence that you have grown.

This episode is for the woman who feels herself pressing against the edges of a life that used to fit.

The one who has outgrown something but has not yet named it.

The one who keeps filling the void because the spaciousness feels unbearable.

The one who is in the tilling season and does not know what will grow.

In this episode, we explore:

· What it means to outgrow a container and why it is evidence of growth, not failure

· The tilling season - the in-between, the void, the no man's land

· Why most of us are only taught to fill the void, not be in it

· The safety in pressure vs. the discomfort of spaciousness

· Why integration requires space and why we resist it

· Galatians 6:9 — do not grow weary in planting good seeds

· The void is not absence. It is preparation.

· Spaciousness as exchange, what gets released must be replaced

· Sacred belonging and the courage to leave where you no longer belong

· The community that will hold the next version of you cannot find you if you are still performing for the approval of the last container

Listener Reflection

Is there a container in your life that you have outgrown but haven't named yet? Where do you feel the pressing? The edges? That is not a verdict. It is the beginning of an honest conversation with yourself and with God, about what you are becoming.
