For this series, we are shaking things up a bit. Alfie is putting everything we’ve talked about so far into practice and has decided to bring you all along for the journey as he reenters the world as an artist. Each month, we are documenting every stage of the process with help and advice from experts along the way.


In this episode, we start in January 2025. Alfie is writing songs and hopes to get them made into demos to start thinking about releasing them. We will hear his songs go from rough ideas to fully formed tracks, with a masterclass in songwriting and home recording from Liz Horsman.
