In this reflection from Surah Adh-Dhariyat, we explore how true worship is not just action, but it is based on knowing Allah because as Sa’di said in his Tafsir: 

“The more a person knows his Lord, the more perfect his worship will be”. 

We reflect on Fāṭir 35:15, the Name of Allah Al-Ghaniyy, and how human beings are fundamentally in need of Him. We also look at Surah Yusuf as an example of someone whose emotional balance and self-worth were rooted in the knowledge or maʿrifah of Allah, not people or circumstances.
