In southern Norway, Helene Skeie Henrich sees the tiny plus sign on her pregnancy test- and her world flips upside down, in more ways than you can imagine.
She quickly gets the feeling that people in wheelchairs aren’t welcome as parents in society. She combs through the internet, asks her doctors and visits all her local baby-care stores- but finds nothing. No tools are built for parents with wheelchairs in mind. She has to invent her own.
Participants: Helene Skeie Henrich, Nicole Lomerson, researcher at the Associate II at the Lurie Center for disability policy in the US.
