Author Luke McQuillan has joined us on ITBR! We had an enticing conversation spanning from 1930's queer history to our modern-day administration and how easy it can be to fall into the rabbit hole on writing queer suffering and anxieties when the choice to write on joy is right there.
Luke opened up on how American politics eroded his mental health which led him to write his debut musical novel Love in the Light. Set in 1939, the musical novel follows ship navigator Alfred Hearn and lighthouse keeper James Spencer. You guessed it, sparks are gonna fly between these two!
