Andrea Martina voices Axel, one of the most argued about characters in Apex Legends, as fan mention that she "ruined the game". In this episode, she reads real fan reactions, the good and the brutal, and talks candidly about what it's like to carry a character that divisive.
We get into how she built Axel from the ground up, the real life parallel she didn't expect, the sketch she drew of the character from memory before any reference art existed, and the two very different real people she pulled the performance from. By the end, she gives her honest answer to anyone who thinks Axel should be nerfed out of existence.
