What happens when the life you've built suddenly ends, leaving your identity and sense of self shattered? How do you navigate the messy work of dissolving who you thought you were to discover who you might become?

In this episode of Embodied, Olympic figure skating medallist turned transformational coach and facilitator Dylan Moscovitch joins Anthea Bell for an honest conversation about purpose, loss, and the possibility of deep healing through letting go. Together they move from the all-consuming world of elite sport into the liminal space of identity crisis, spiritual awakening, and building a meaningful life beyond external success.

About Dylan Moscovitch:

Dylan Moscovitch is a Canadian Olympic silver medalist, TEDx speaker, and founder of Threshold™ - a methodology for navigating life's pivotal transitions.

For nearly two decades he represented Canada in pairs figure skating, winning silver at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games through resilience, artistry, and focus under pressure. Then a 200-pound mirror fell on his face, ending his path to a second Games and shattering an identity built over decades. What followed wasn't recovery - it was an unraveling.

Acting, modeling, broadcasting, and coaching each pushed him further, but not yet through. A profound awakening cracked everything open, initiating a path of purpose rooted in study and service. Learning from indigenous traditions, somatic practice, meditation, and ceremony, he weaves ancient wisdom with sport psychology and lived experience.

From that passage, Threshold™ emerged. Dylan now guides athletes, leaders, and creatives through transitions of every scale, working alongside his wife, Mariana, at Tierra Viviente, and creating safe spaces for men at Menkind Collective.
