This week on Time Signatures with Jim Ervin, Erv welcomes celebrated editor, Bob Sarles for a chat about his early work in film, his documentary on Mike Bloomfield, and his subsequent work that landed an opportunity to take over and finish “Born in Chicago”. “Born” showcases a small handful of young white guys (Mike Bloomfield, Paul Butterfield, Corky Siegel, Charlie Musselwhite and others), who learned their Blues craft at the feet of Blues giants like Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf and many others.
