Arguably, Dog Day Afternoon features one of Al Pacino's greatest ever performances. It's a performance and film that continues to be referenced and discussed decades later. Pacino plays Sonny Wortzik, a man decides to rob a local Brooklyn bank to pay for his lover's operation, but he is forced to take hostages after the heist does not go as planned.

Broadcaster and comedian Iain Lee joins All About Al: The Pacino Podcast to discuss the film. Iain talks about why it is one of his favourite films ever, why it's such a subtle heist movie and how powerful the ending is.
