Nuclear Energy Renaissance in Sweden? Is it possible, and why now?

The nuclear renaissance is happening in Sweden. Left and right we see new ambitious announcements about new nuclear projects.

The Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Krisstenson has made it clear: Nuclear Energy is the single most important measure if we are to double electricity production and it is to be completely fossil-free.
It’s not only the government that has shown a new interest in nuclear energy. Also private and state-owned companies now see great opportunities and investment cases in building new nuclear power plants all across Sweden.
