After a wild weekend at Decibel outdoor, we sit down with Dr Donk to hear how it all happened. He tells us how he went from producing dubstep to discovering GPF, losing his first DJ contest but being booked because of his mixtape at the next event. “I took a completely different route, but still ended up exactly where I wanted to go from the start.”
"At some point, I got bored of making the same uptempo over and over again. I wanted to innovate.” We talk about his performance at Decibel outdoor, combining dubstep with zaagkicks, the upcoming ZAAGSTEP album, selling out Bootshaus and dealing with criticism online.
