In this conversation with Lynn Hoffman, Raine traces his path from a life-changing Peter Gabriel concert to writing Naveed as a teenager processing his parents’ divorce, and opens up about the vulnerability behind Clumsy‘s “4am.” He also shares the story behind I’m Gonna Break Your Heart, the documentary and  album he made with his wife and songwriting partner Chantal Kreviazuk, and reflects on why — 30 years in — music still saves him every single day.
