In this talk given at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling, Louisiana, on July 12, 2026, Raymond Nader, President of the Family of Saint Sharbel, recounts the life of Saint Sharbel: his birth in Beqaa Kafra, his monastic and hermetic life at the monastery of Saint Maron in Annaya, and the extraordinary events surrounding his death and burial, including the many miracles later attributed to his intercession. Mr. Nader also shares his own encounter with Saint Sharbel at the saint's hermitage in Annaya, marked by an imprint of five fingers on his arm accompanied by blood and water, an experience that has recurred many times over the years. He closes by sharing the message Saint Sharbel entrusted to him: Scripture, the Eucharist, and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary as the path toward eternal life.
