Oklahoma Archery Podcast 125 with Casey Gamble

The 5th Annual Get Western Challenge is scheduled for Aug 9th is coming back to Hutchinson, KS. Registration opens at 7:00am and Shooter meeting at 8:00am. Heats start on the range at 8:30am! This event is designed to test your physicality and prepare you for western hunting scenarios. Archers can expect to walk between 2.25 and 3.5 miles with various obstacles designed to test your mettle with a bow in hand. Registration is $50 and they are giving away a fantastic selection of prizes. Cash payouts for 1st through 3rd place and items from elk calls, yeti coolers, SHOT 3Dx day passes and everything else you need to conquer the mountain. There is only 1 class of competitors but if we have 5 women in attendance there will be a special prize drawing amongst the ladies. We encourage archers of all skill levels to come try their hand at the one of a kind archery event. Scores are based on shot placement and course completion time.
