Ian McDiarmid who played Emperor Palpatine / Darth Sidious has revealed that him and George discussed a Palpatine show back in the day before he sold Lucasfilm. The show would encompass Palpatine after Revenge of the Sith (maybe some flashbacks of Plagueis would be cool) and we would have gotten a more drama style show on the politics of the Empire.
