Welcome to our two-part series on Carry The Load - a month-long event culminating in Dallas, Texas on Memorial Day. Memorial Day is in May, but for many people like Jacob, Ashley and the whole One Tribe family, honoring those who lost their lives in service of the United States of America is an everyday experience. And no two of those days are the same. Our episodes on Honoring The Fallen strive to reflect the evolving nature of memorializing those that have passed by taking you not only into the Carry The Load event itself, but into the minds and hearts of veterans, friends, parents and spouses of those that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
