The Trump administration has systematically deleted and altered hundreds of taxpayer-funded federal datasets across agencies to scrub records that conflict with its political and ideological priorities. These removals heavily target public health tracking, climate science resources like NASA's climate.gov, education statistics, and labor surveys, while also eliminating demographic indicators on gender identity and sexual orientation, limiting the public's and policymakers' ability to monitor systemic issues, make evidence-based decisions, and hold leadership accountable.
