Professor Sunetra Gupta of Oxford University speaks of being silenced, about lock-downs and her work on a Bird Flu vaccine.

Professor of Theoretical Epidemiology at Oxford University's Department of Zoology, having graduated in 1987 from Princeton University and received her PhD from the University of London.

Sunetra has an interest in the public understanding of science and also in the connections between science and literature at the level of language and narrative.
