In this episode, "Species Spotlight: Gourami", the Gettin’ Fishy With It crew delve into the world of gouramis. You might be surprised how many fish are classified as gouramis. From Siamese fighting fish to paradise fish, gouramis can measure a fraction of an inch in length to more than two feet long! This group is quite an interesting one. And they've adapted amazing ways to survive and breed in various environments. You won’t want to miss this one!
This podcast is brought to you by the royal gramma. These fish truly embody royalty. From their royal purple heads to their judgemental down-turned mouths they were born to rule. After spawning, the males spend their time guarding the eggs. No royal guard needed for these males. They get down and do the dirty work themselves. Hail to you, royal gramma as you continue to grace our oceans and our aquariums.
