To whom much is given, much is required w/ Peter Mutabazi

In this episode of Let Me Ask You This, I sit down with my dear friend Peter Mutabazi, known to many online as Foster Flipper. Peter’s story is one that stretches the imagination of what love, obedience, and the gospel can look like when lived out in everyday life.

Peter shares his journey from growing up as a vulnerable child on the margins of Uganda to becoming a father who has fostered over 48 children, adopted three, and is currently in the process of completing additional adoptions. What began with the kindness of one stranger completely changed the trajectory of his life and opened his eyes to the reality of the gospel in action.

In our conversation, Peter unpacks what the words of Jesus mean to him: “To whom much is given, much is required.” He shares how that truth has shaped the way he lives, fathers, and serves families walking the road of foster care and adoption.

Peter is also the founder of the Now I Am Known Foundation, where he continues to advocate for children and equip families stepping into the foster and adoption space. But beyond the titles and the platform, Peter is simply a father who has chosen to make room at his table again and again.
