Johnny Vedmore is joined by Michael Castillero to discuss his conviction and his search for a pardon from Trump.   In 2025, a Manhattan jury convicted Michael Castillero of securities fraud, wire fraud, investment-adviser fraud, and obstruction for his role in StraightPath Venture Partners, a pre-IPO fund business that raised hundreds of millions from more than 2,000 investors. Prosecutors said he hid markups and fees, concealed a prior FINRA ban, and deleted emails during an SEC probe. Castillero calls it a politically motivated prosecution, says many investors profited, and is fighting the verdict on appeal while asking President Trump for a pardon.
