Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, and players will get their first chance to test it next month!
The Switch 2 open beta runs from August 28 through September 1, 2026. No preorder is required, although players will need an active Nintendo Switch Online membership and a Nintendo Account. Tonight, we discuss the beta announcement, what we need to see from the Switch 2 version, and whether Call of Duty can deliver the performance players expect from a competitive shooter.
Modern Warfare 4 launches October 23, 2026, alongside the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions.
