He: בכל חדר קטן של בית יתומים בירושלים, הילדים היו עסוקים בעשייה לקראת חג הסוכות.
En: In every small room of an orphanage in Jerusalem, the children were busy with preparations for the festival of Sukkot.
He: האוויר היה צונן ומלא בריח עלי שלכת.
En: The air was cool and filled with the scent of autumn leaves.
He: מלכה, ילדה בת עשר עם חיוך חם, הייתה עסוקה בהכנת שרשראות נייר צבעוניות לסוכה הגדולה שבחצר.
En: Malka, a ten-year-old girl with a warm smile, was busy making colorful paper chains for the large sukkah in the yard.
He: אך בתוך ליבה הייתה מודאגת.
En: However, inside her heart, she was worried.
He: יונה, חברתה הטובה ביותר, עמדה לעבור ניתוח.
En: Yona, her best friend, was about to undergo surgery.
He: יונה פחדה, אך אף אחד לא שם לב לכך חוץ ממלכה.
En: Yona was scared, but nobody noticed it except Malka.

En: After the celebrations ended, Malka went to the hospital, her sukkah ready in her heart.
