Fifteen Years Later, Revisiting the Promise and Limits of Occupy Wall Street

Dela

Fifteen years after Occupy Wall Street began in Zuccotti Park, NYC Now returns to WNYC’s archives to ask what the movement changed, where it fell short and what remains today. WNYC reporter Stephen Nessen reflects on covering Occupy in real time, while City Council member Sandy Nurse looks back on her experience inside the movement and the path that eventually took her from activism into elected office.
