Originally from Colorado, Aubree Estrella is a professional stills photographer/filmmaker with an emphasis in the music industry. Photographing cover images for publications such as NME Music, Guitar, touring with artists such as UPSAHL, xAmbassadors, and shooting both still and motion for Plague Vendor's two latest singles, Aubree has been creating visually stunning work while working with some very powerful musical acts.
In today's episode, we dive into Aubree's early years in Colorado, playing soccer at a high level, sustaining an injury and being thankful she got hurt so we did not have to play anymore, how and why she moved to Los Angeles, CA, how photography entered her life, working within the music industry, being a woman in a mostly male dominated industry, battling mental health issues, finding her sobriety, the struggles of social media as a creative, clients wanting you to shoot both photo and motion for one price, and so much more.
