Henry Dunster's story challenges men to stop measuring the value of their work by how quickly they see results. You may be working hard to provide for your family, raise your children, strengthen your marriage, serve at church, build a career, or grow spiritually—and sometimes it feels like nothing is changing.
But faithfulness is not wasted just because the results are slow.
Dunster invested in something he would never fully see completed. In the same way, your decisions today may shape people and generations you may never meet. Your prayers, sacrifices, integrity, leadership, and obedience can become a foundation for someone else's future.
So ask yourself: What am I building right now that will still matter after I'm gone?
Don't give up simply because you can't see the harvest yet. Build faithfully. Lead well. Trust God with the results.
