It’s once again time to pack the Ope, A Ghost Van, for a haunted road trip—but this time, we’re going to need a boat, because we’re crossing the Atlantic to explore the haunted city of Manchester, England. A huge thank-you to our Manc friend Zoe for the invitation! We’ve traveled to some seriously haunted locations over the years, but Manchester ranks near the very top of our list of the most haunted cities we’ve ever visited.
We’ll kick off our tour deep beneath the city, exploring Manchester’s mysterious underground tunnels where the Phantom Doctor is said to roam. Then, speaking of doctors, we’ll head to Barnes Hospital, where a ghostly nurse is said to wander the halls—and the faint sobbing of children can be heard echoing through the old ward. You’ll also hear the ghastly tale of Hannah Beswick, better known as the Manchester Mummy, whose bizarre and chilling story has become one of the city’s most infamous legends. And don’t leave just yet, there are three more spooky locations waiting to be investigated, each with its own dark history and paranormal tales. Buckle up, because this is going to be one unforgettable haunted road trip!
