Most people think salvation is something you work toward — be good enough, do enough, show up enough, and maybe you'll make the cut. But that's not what the Bible actually teaches. In this episode, I dig into what it really means to be saved: why earning it isn't possible, why grace isn't the same as a free pass, and how accepting Jesus as Savior changes the entire equation. If you've ever laid awake wondering "am I actually saved," you might want to pay attention to this one.
We talk through 2 Corinthians 5:21 and what it actually means to be made righteous — not by cleaning yourself up first, but by being covered in Christ's righteousness. We look at Romans 8:1 and why "no condemnation" isn't a technicality, it's the whole game. And we sit in Romans 5:8, where Paul makes the point that God didn't wait for us to get our act together — He moved while we were still in the mess.
By the end, the goal isn't to hand you a new checklist. It's to show you that the checklist was never how this worked in the first place.
