In this episode, I’m sharing what it has looked like to start again with my health, fitness and routines after a really difficult few years.
I talk about returning to boot camp, choosing courage over comfort and why waiting until you feel completely ready can keep you stuck for far longer than you realise.
I’ll also share what I’ve learned about acceptance, letting go, capacity and rebuilding trust with yourself. This is not about changing everything overnight.
It is about choosing one thing, showing up consistently and proving to yourself that you can move forward, even when life feels messy and the timing is far from perfect.
Highlights:
(04:15) - The message that stopped me in my tracks: you chose courage over comfort
(08:20) - Why I decided not to wait until September to start again
(12:03) - The real turning point was committing before I felt ready
(16:19) - When pushing harder was actually making things worse
(25:24) - Why this was never a willpower problem, it was a capacity problem
(29:59) - One thing at a time: how small commitments create real momentum
