This past January, I had the pleasure of speaking to Grammy Award winning saxophonist, DJ, keyboardist and vocoderist Casey Benjamin about growing up in New York and the various groups he’s played with, including the Robert Glasper Experiment. I’m glad I got the chance to express how his music inspired me and a multitude of musicians and artists. Casey will be forever appreciated and deeply missed.
