Greek month continues on with the three hour, 2 night tv movie event that aired on NBC in 1997, The Odyssey. It's a unique cast that blend tv actors with movie actors and the results is a little mixed. It's 90's tv special effects bringing the monsters to life to fight Odysseus. It's Armand Assante in the titular role and does a good job for the most part. It's a unique watch to setup the new Nolan version. And the second review is the new 2026 version that both Jerome and Brian loved. It kicks ass on the cinematic front while drawing in audience members with it's love story and emotional character development. It's a hell of a movie.
